Our Board Of Directors

"Our Mission is to foster opportunities so that each individual with a developmental disability in Taney County can reach his/her own maximum level of potential."

Board members are appointed by the Taney County Commission to three-year terms of service after advertisement, recruitment and screening of interested persons. The Board is charged with the responsibility of developing and supporting those services necessary to enable county residents with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential in self-sufficiency and independence.

The Board of Director’s meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of the month from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and are held in a publicly accessible location. Notices of meetings are posted in the Board’s Administrative Office at 1533 East State Hwy 76 in Branson.

Chuck O'Day

Chuck moved to Branson in 1989, graduated from Branson High School in 1994, and works for Kuvera Partners. He serves on multiple community boards and committees and has been involved with Developmental Connections for over fourteen years. Chuck has a passion to ensure people with developmental disabilities have opportunities and resources available to live as independently as possible.

Darin Dodrill

Darin has been in business here locally for the past 20 years. He has two daughters Abby and Gracie, one with a developmental disability. He earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University. Also he retired from the United States Marines in 2012 after 22 years of service.

Tracey Field

Tracey moved to the Branson area in 1982, worked in marketing and public relations for 40 years, and served on 10 community boards, including Developmental Connections. Tracey has a passion for ensuring individuals with disabilities are provided all the opportunities possible to reach their maximum potential and is the proud mom of Wes, Jessie and Alex.

Dave Janke

Dave Janke serves as the KAA Director of Support Operations. He began working at Kids Across America as the Assistant to the Executive Director in 1998. Prior to that, Dave worked at Kanakuk Kamps. He received his bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Sam Houston State University in 1988. Dave and his wife, Mary Kay, have two children—Rebecca and Sara Beth.

Bob Paulson

Bob is a local attorney who for many years was the Taney County Counselor. He has coached youth sports and served on several community boards, including several terms on the Kirbyville School Board. Bob's son has a developmental disability, and he is dedicated to serving his son and other adults with developmental disabilities.

Bodie Connolly

Bodie moved to Branson from Maui, Hawaii in 2011, and currently serves as a Community Bank President at The Bank of Missouri. Bodie and his wife, Marissa, have four children. Their third child, Jack, has a physical disability that gave rise to Bodie’s passion for helping families of children with disabilities.

Amanda Moudy

Amanda Moudy is a dedicated educator with thirteen years of experience in special education, counseling, and student advocacy with Hollister schools. Amanda is committed to enhancing resources and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities in Taney County.

Ryan Pace

Ryan is the Director of Safety at Branson Schools, where he is committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment. He is a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities and strives to make a meaningful impact in their lives. Ryan and his wife, Ruby, are proud parents of four children.

Troy W. Rasmussen

Troy has/is:
- Married to Stacey for 28 years -best decision of his life
- Three daughters – second, third, and fourth best decisions
- A United States Air Force Veteran - call sign Shep
- A storyteller - get him going and maybe he will tell you how he got that name
- A published author of gentle and literary fiction
- A BS in Business Administration
